At the end of every year, I like to set aside time to reflect and journal my insights from the year. This strategy helps me slow down and get more mileage from my experiences.
Sometimes we’re so focused on the “next thing” that we jump right in without taking a moment to pause.
However, if we allow ourselves the time to reflect, it enables us to capture the positive energy and lessons learned from those reflections and apply it to that “next thing.”
So, come on, join me!
PAUSE and give yourself the GIFT of reflecting on these questions:
- What is your “proudest proud” from the year?
- What brought you the most joy?
- What new strengths did you discover?
- What pleasantly surprised you?
- What challenges did you overcome?
- What did you learn?
- What are you most grateful for?
- What new, positive habits did you develop?
- How will you carry these positive things into the new year?
If you don’t have time right now, that’s fine. But find some time to go back and think about your responses to these questions. Take a minute to FEEL GOOD about the past year! CELEBRATE it!
Wishing you the best!
